As part of a brand refresh for Broken Heart Love Affair, I illustrated a custom black swan to embody the agency’s bold, unconventional spirit.
The black swan is a powerful symbol — rare, striking, and impossible to ignore — much like the agency itself. Known for crafting emotionally resonant work that breaks through the noise, Broken Heart Love Affair needed a visual that reflected both elegance and edge. The swan represents beauty with an undertone of defiance — a perfect fit for an agency that prides itself on emotional storytelling and creative bravery.
The illustration was crafted to feel iconic yet slightly imperfect — expressive line work and subtle texture give it personality and a sense of motion. Designed to be adaptable across brand applications, the swan appears in digital, print, and presentation materials, acting as a visual signature for the agency’s identity.
