Tread is an industry-leading transportation management system designed specifically for the construction sector. Its platform helps customers streamline the movement of construction materials with modern tools for dispatching, GPS tracking, digital tickets, and timesheets — replacing outdated processes that often rely on phone calls, spreadsheets, and paper tickets.
To support their internal team event, Horizon, I was commissioned to create a custom two-colour dump truck illustration for a limited-edition t-shirt. The goal was to create something bold, graphic, and uniquely “Tread” — a visual that would resonate with both the product team and the people behind the wheel.
The design features a stylized dump truck in motion — a nod to the company’s mission to keep the construction world moving forward through smarter logistics and better tech. Rendered in a simple, screen-print-friendly two-colour palette, the illustration was made to stand out while keeping production efficient.
Part team swag, part brand statement — the final piece gave employees a sense of pride and connection, and brought a bit of visual fun to the worksite and beyond.
