50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO
In 2025, Petro-Canada marks 50 years as one of Canada’s leading integrated energy companies.
Since its founding in 1975, the brand has grown to serve millions of Canadians through a network of over 1,800 retail and wholesale locations and a team of roughly 15,000 associates. This milestone not only celebrates Petro-Canada’s legacy but also signals its ongoing commitment to fueling Canadians for the next 50 years and beyond.
To commemorate the occasion, I created a custom 50-year anniversary mark to be used across all marketing and promotional materials throughout 2025. Drawing from Petro-Canada’s brand typeface to maintain visual continuity, the mark was designed around the concept of connectivity — inspired by the vast network of Canadian roads that link communities from coast to coast. The three bold lines represent a road in motion, while their open-ended form symbolizes an ongoing journey and a future-focused brand.
